After re-styling the window sills - marianne lay down on the swing sofa and took a much deserved rest - 
she  lay  there elegantly with a great feeling of accomplishment and dozed off for an hour or so which allowed me to appreciate it all and sketch, marking the moment - 
years later, the window sill remains the same -
